Statement by the Press Secretary on S. 404, S. 684, and S. 997

On Wednesday, June 27, 2012, the President signed into law : S. 404, which directs the Secretary of the Interior to modify a land grant patent in Chippewa County, Michigan; S. 684, which directs the Secretary of Agriculture to convey, without consideration, certain Federal land located in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, to the Town of Alta, Utah; and S. 997, the “East Bench Irrigation District Water Contract Extension Act,” which authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to extend a contract for water services between the United States and the East Bench Irrigation District in Montana.
